Neurologist Oliver Sacks studied neurological oddities in people, looking to understand how the brain works. He concluded that people with some kind of frontal lobe harm often "made not just severe complications with expressive language (aphasia) but a wierd access of musicality with incessant whistling, singing and a passionate curiosity in music.
